Whew! This has been a whirlwind of a month and I can't believe it has flown by so fast! Lots of new and exciting changes for us as we embark on this new adventure and chapter in our life! Lots of changes for the store as we continue to reorganize and do 'face lift' to everything Michelle has started. Thanks Marc & Michelle for all your hard work! You have laid a fantastic foundation for us to build upon.... It has been such a pleasure getting to know you throughout this process and we hope to see you often and wish you well on your future endeavors!
Please bear with us as we continue to improve your shopping experience and reorganize the store and expand upon the merchandise we offer. Feel free to offer suggestions or positive comments along the way. We would like to make visiting MRRT a fun and enjoyable experience each and every time you visit and always have something available to you from your shopping list! Being a Thrift Store junkie myself I know how fun it can be to find that 'great deal' or 'awesome find' at an affordable price.
We welcome your "shopping lists". If you have a special item you are looking for please let us know, drop us an e-mail or give us a call with your contact info and let us know what it is and we will be on the look out for it and notify you if we find something that matches your request.

Some exciting things to look forward to:
We will soon be accepting debit / credit cards and can take local checks to make your shopping experience a little easier and more convenient.
We will be adding a bin in the back of the store for drop off of goods after store hours. The Donation Bin at the Car Wash will be discontinued as of August 1st. As always we accept and appreciate your clean, gently used items. Please limit items to those like we sell currently or hope to add to our inventory unless you have spoken to us prior as we don't always have the room for storing large items, items not on our sale list or unusable items. Everyone has been very generous and our storage unit is fulling up, although we look forward to expanding to a larger space sometime in the future, dependent on community demand, for now we are slightly limited. Thank you for understanding.
As I said earlier we are expanding our inventory to include; small (working) house hold appliances, housewares, more linens, children's toys, baby accessories, beauty accessories, more jewelry, craft items, games and puzzles (with all the pieces of course), pictures and frames, sporting goods and other fanciful treasures we come across.
We have reorganized the book section and are now asking donations for the books to benefit the local food shelf. All we ask is that you choose your best donation and let us know the amount, we will add it in when you check out and move the money aside until we have a good amount to donate.
Our "Free Items" Treasure Chest bin is still located in the front of the store under the book case, presently, with recycled items that are good for work clothes or dusting rags, kids smocks for school or that just need a little TLC, like mending. Please have a look and show the tag to the clerk at the register when checking out. Thanks!
The new additions to the store, some of you have already met, Lil Foot and PeeTree two Green Cheek-Pineapple Conures, the store's mascots, are always pleased to welcome you in or entertain you while checking out! Come and say "Hello" and watch them dance!

Watch here for more exciting news and changes to come!

We look forward to serving the Valley for many years to come! Come grow with us! Thank you again for the warm welcome and generous donations!

Blessings,
Terri & Matt Commo
